I have moved this fashion blog.

Since I work with children I catch a lot of illnesses, the most recent one being a sickness bug which I had on Saturday and Sunday. I've now recovered but unfortunately Stephen now has it. He's hardly ever ill and it's horrible seeing him like this :( I'd rather have it again instead of him having it!

He has his motorbike test tomorrow morning at 8am (he already has a 125cc motorbike and a CBT but this is his full, and rather expensive motorbike test) and I really hope a good nights sleep helps him speedily recover for it. I'd feel so bad if he didn't pass since he's ill because of me!

I'd like to think that what happens in the lion king was true - that those we love but have passed away are watching down on us each and every day. I don't mean that I believe in Heaven but I like to think that after life we become something as amazing as a star and watch over our loved ones.

I don't think there is one most important quality, there's definitely a few which are a must - loyalty, sense of humour and good communication skills are at the top of the list for me I think.

Stephen bought me this owl cap to go on my key today from the Paperchase section in Borders. I've wanted one for ages and this one is unbelievably cute!



I've decided that when I have children and they're still very young I want to be a housewife for a while. I'd actually love that as weird as it sounds. I'd keep the house nice and tidy, cook Stephen some lovely cakes and biscuits and get to look after the children and see them grow and develop everyday :)

Anyway, tomorrow Stephen and I are making Dalek shaped biscuits (geeky but we love it!) tomorrow. We saw them in Tesco today and picked them up.

So I had honey and coconut pancakes today! I wanted to have lemon and honey which is my usual pancake topping but we didn't have any lemon in the house, so honey and coconut it was and it was gorgeous!

Originally I was just going to talk about this when it was finished but I'm really excited about it and can't keep it to myself any longer (if you're a member of off_highstreet you'll already know about this). I'm making a blog dedicated to clothes, cooking etc!!! I know exactly what it's going to be called (you'll have to wait to find out!) and have even made a layout for it already. It'll be a few weeks before everything's sorted out so for now I'll continue to post here and leave you with what's going to be written in the 'about the site' page which I have called 'what's this about?'.

What's this about?

(Site name here) is my own space upon the web where I post style and cooking related entries – as well as other bits and pieces. I aim to write about high street clothing, shoes and accessories as some websites on the internet are fantastic for inspiration but do not feature realistic and affordable finds. (Site name here) also includes once weekly outfits that I have put together from currently available clothing, shoes and accessories on the internet, and occasionally reviews of various products.

Isn't it great how food can dramatically change your mood? Gypsy toast aka eggy bread is one of my feel good foods and is exactly what I had for lunch today.

Now I love Urban Outfitters as much as the next person, but £200 for this dress? Come oooon! It's not even THAT nice! I'd rather spend £180 LESS and grab this fabulous ivory floral Ofira chiffon ruffle dress from boohoo.com instead, which in my opinion is 100 times nicer anyway!

There's also a black (which looks more brown in the picture) version too called the Espen chiffon ruffle dress.
